Meet Aaron

Born and raised in Palatine, Illinois. Current Palatine Township Highway Commissioner and Candidate for Illinois Lieutenant Governor

Aaron’s father is a first-generation immigrant who carved out a piece of the American dream for himself and his family. Aaron’s mother, a native of the South Side of Chicago, worked as a critical care nurse for sixteen years. She is proud to be the first in her family to have graduated college and instilled in Aaron her value of education. Aaron returned home to Palatine upon earning a degree in Public Management from Indiana University and an MBA Essentials Certificate from the University of Illinois to start a small business and a family. Aaron and Sara are proud parents of six children who are active in the community, attend local schools and play multiple sports. As a community volunteer, Aaron has devoted his time as a substitute teacher, room parent, and coach for his children’s football, wrestling, softball, and basketball programs.

As a local entrepreneur and small businessman, Aaron has founded several companies in Illinois. They include Adrenaline Special Events LLC, which produces running races and endurance events across the country including the nationally acclaimed Santa Hustle Race Series and US Casino Rentals, which specializes in event planning for corporate and non-profit organizations, with more than 14 employees and 250 subcontractors nationwide.

Del Mar’s leadership has earned many accolades and awards from the community including being named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ prestigious 2019 Notable Entrepreneurs List. Aaron was also honored to receive the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition Community Leadership Award in 2019. The Daily Herald named Aaron their 2018 Young Entrepreneur of the Year and was also recognized by the Palatine Chamber of Commerce as the “Hero/Heart of the Community” winner of their 2017 Keys to Success award.
